McCain gave a lovely speech. He encouraged the nation to stand behind the newly elected president. McCain ran an awesome race and is more of a patriotic American and has sacrificed more for this country than anyone I know. My hat off to him and my prayers for his peace.
Mr. President,
Thank you. Thank you for showing each and every American that anything is possible. Even those who wish you failure. Thank you for speaking to not only our minds, but our also our hearts, last night. I have a renewed faith in what this country can become. I saw all backgrounds listening to you last night. I saw tears emerge from a sea of so much pain and sorrow. These tears were released in joy. In hope and in pride.
I pray that you will lead not only with your intelligence. But also with your kindness, with YOUR hope for a better future for your little children and all of Americas children. That you will set an example for all of the people out there who have not evolved enough to where they still see color as an issue. I pray that you will continue the protection of this nation and stand true to what your heart believes.
Thank you. Thank you for the first time in my life. Bringing me a sense of pride on election day. Thank you. I was the only person in my family to vote for you. But I just know. I just am confident that there minds will be set free. And they will see that we are so much better off with you in this high office. They will see that you truly are for the people. For me, for them, for everyone.
I will not agree with all of your decision. But I promise to recognize that your decisions are based on many factors. Some of which I do not understand. But I will trust you.
God Bless you, your family and this nation that I live in.
