Thank you Jen

Thanks to Jen, I have the assignment I missed. It sounds like everyone had a fun day in class and I regret missing it. I wish I could have met the puppy boy.

So. It turns out that changing a fuse in a car is pretty elementary. I went to the library to find a manual for my car. Although they had a manual. It did not include a diagram of my fuse box. I decided to just go to Auto barn and get the fuses. I thought, I'll just wing it and see if I can do it with out the help of a diagram.

The fuses came in a pack of 8 and included the coolest tool I have ever seen. It includes a fuse puller. This is a small instrument that pulls the fuses out with out the use of needle nose pliers. But this is the best part. On the other end of this tool. There is 3 prongs and a green light. What you do is this. Normally, you would need to pull each fuse out to inspect it. If it is dead. You would know this by looking in the middle of the fuse. If it has a broken metal piece. It's dead. Kind of like a light bulb when it burns out. So anyway, you take this took and insert the prongs into the small holes of the fuse. If the green light, lights up. The fuse is good. If it fails to light up, the fuse is dead and needs to be replaced. What a great invention. I was so impressed by this little thing. I am telling everyone about it. I was able to change two fuses. One was for my tail lights and the other for my dash lights. I could not believe that I was able to do this by myself. Had I of gone to the shop. They would have charged me a service charge once again and maybe would have given me some "BS" about how they have to order a special part or something and charged me an arm and a leg. After I changed my fuses. My mother said, "Maybe you can change my fuse for my horn". She nor I was sure that was why her horn wasn't working. But I went out to her car. And guess what? I changed her fuse and I felt so much pride when I pressed the horn and it "HONKED". hahaha. It's the little things in life that bring the most pleasure I suppose.
So if anyone needs a fuse replaced. I have the tools to do so. :)
